COVID 19 Update

Please check back regularly for the most current information available.  The JHL follows the guidelines set forth by Alberta Health and the City of Edmonton.

The following forms will be required before athletes can participate in events.

1. JHL Waiver Form

2.  Covid-19 Waiver Release

3.  Daily Covid-19 Questionnaire

Please familiarize yourself with the City of Edmonton Arenas Safety Guidelines

https://www.edmonton.ca/activities_parks_recreation/documents/PDF/ArenasSafetyGuidelines.pdf

A few key items:

  • Players will arrive dressed to events. Skates may be tied at the rink, but skate tying prior to arrival and skate guards are strongly recommended.

  • Water fountains are not available. Please ensure players have pre-filled, labelled water bottles for their usage on the ice.

  • Players will be allowed into the arena 15 minutes prior to the session start time.

  • Spectators/parents and guardians will be allowed in the facility at session start time. Parents will be required to wait outside until the session starts.

  • Spectators are limited to  one person per player.

The JHL is required to take a zero tolerance approach in order to align with Alberta Health and City of Edmonton Covid-19 guidelines.  Failure to complete the forms, follow the rules or in the event of any symptoms, players will NOT be able to participate.  The safety of all participants is of paramount concern and focus.
